Spending the morning with the Racine family was such a gift. They’re warm, inviting, and fun, making you feel like an old friend the second you meet.
I walked into their home at 7:30 in the morning, though you wouldn’t have known it was early by just how happy and spunky their little ones were. We took advantage of that spunkiness by starting with a few classic portraits and “family on the front porch” shot. Then, the real fun began. The rest of my time with them was spent documenting the playing, yelling, running, playing in dirt goodness that happens when awesome parents like these let kids be kids (and join in on the fun:).
As if the morning couldn’t get any better, there was a backyard cake smash to celebrate their littlest’s first birthday. All I can say it, that little guy knows how to enjoy a cake.
