I met Shelby a week ago in the hospital, and I was so excited to go back and spend time with her and her sweet family this past weekend. Emily contacted me in November to schedule a newborn session, and I was ecstatic that she was hoping to have the kind of session that I do best: relaxed and real!
I was greeted at the door by Daphne, their adorable boxer mix who made sure that I knew she adored Shelby as much as the rest of the family. Shelby was alert and mellow at the same time, and it was awesome seeing her interact with Mac and Emily. I also had the bonus of photographing Shelby with Emily’s mom! I think you can see from the images that Shelby is truly loved.
