It’s safe to say I’ve been trying to write this post in my head since these two’s engagement session. And yet here I am feeling at a loss for explaining just how much I adore them. In short, they embody everything I’d ever want in a client-they’re kind, fun, hilarious, relaxed, and live with a love for God that carries over into their interactions with everyone around them. On top of that, they have such a pure and genuine love for one another that you can’t help but be happy around them, and you just know they can face anything together…
like a rainy wedding day. It was the kind of rain that doesn’t quit and means that visions of an outdoor wedding are going to be scrapped. No one wishes for that on their big day, but true to form, Kate and Chris handled the day with grace, faith, and laughter. I’d dare say you may not even have guessed they were going on plan B mode based on the sheer joy they have in the shots from the day. Because they know what’s important. Because they know that their wedding day, as beautiful and well executed and epic as it was, is just the beginning. And nothing can get in the way of the fabulous life they have ahead of them.
So Chris and Kate, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. For inviting me into your lives, becoming my friends, and giving me the honor of telling one small chapter in the story of you.
