When Meghan’s bubbly voice picked up the phone, I immediately liked her. Then Brady chimed in with his southern drawl (which I later found out comes from the same small town some of my dear family is from). And I thought to myself, “I think this couple and I are meant to be.” But per usual I didn’t say that out loud for fear of scaring them away. Thankfully after a nice phone chat, Meghan didn’t waste a second to email me and let me know they felt the same way. Even better, they hoped to have an engagement session as quickly as possible, meaning I didn’t have to wait long to meet them in person. (Insert happy dance and champagne toast that happened over here).
Fast forward to just a couple of weeks later, and Meghan had arranged for us to meet at one of her and Brady’s favorite Richmond spots, Supper. The owner agreed to let us in before their normal opening hours and even went as far as to serve drinks and give us a tour of their new event space. It was an awesome experience – and I’m going back to try their Krispy Kreme bread pudding one day very soon.
After that, we headed to Monument Avenue – where Meghan and Brady received a couple of shout outs – and then to their adorable home, where their sweet dog Baylor joined us for a few photos. Those aren’t included here, though, because I hear they just may be the ones included in a save the date card for their Keswick Hall wedding. Don’t want to ruin any surprises…
