Liz on Film at Meriwether Springs Vineyard

Liz is one of those people you meet and instantly love. She’s bubbly, sincere, and has this beautiful way of offering encouragement from the very moment you meet her. Needless to say, I’m grateful to call her a friend – and when I thought of doing a little film shoot just for fun, I knew her beautiful soul and ray of sunshine smile would make for the perfect subject.

I also knew that her family’s beautiful venue, Meriwether Springs Vineyard would be the perfect spot for frolicking, and it also doesn’t hurt that Liz is up for anything. So when I mentioned that I was hoping to do some dress shots in the cold pond, she didn’t even blink….which made for some of my all time favorite portraits (though I’m still sad I didn’t catch a shot of the fish tha kept jumping out of the water…)

So here’s Liz in a hundred year old dress looking effortlessly beautiful (shot using my Canon EOS 1, Kodak Portra 400, and scanned/developed by the Find Lab – the perfect combo for anyone who wants to dip into the world of film!).
