The joy and excitement and overflow of emotion was palpable when I arrived to Irvine Estate for Holly and Colby’s wedding day. Holly has one of the most genuinely kind and gentle spirits you’ll ever meet (much like her sweet mom I’m blessed to call a friend), and she and Colby have this beautifully comfortable and loving connection that makes it obvious they’re meant to be. Which resulted in a completely relaxed vibe from the beginning to the end of their day.
It was also obvious that they had chosen to spend the day with the family and friends who loved and supported them fully and unconditionally. I can’t count the amount of hugs and smiles and happy tear exchanges I witnessed with almost every guest there – a truly beautiful sight to see.
And on another happy note, God was not only shining on them through their guests but through the weather that day as well: not sure anyone’s ever had a zero humidity, 70 degree Virginian wedding day in July, but Holly and Colby sure did (enter praise hands emojis here…).
