The day started off in Joslyn’s childhood home, with smells of home cooked appetizers filling the air and adorable dogs running in and out of rooms as everyone primped and lounged with delicious drinks in hand. The relaxed and comfortable vibe of the atmosphere fit Joslyn and Chris’s personalities perfectly, and naturally the rest of their day followed suit.
From there I could go into all the details of their home to church to farm wedding day, but personally I think the pictures tell the story best.
But before you scroll down, I just want to point out that also through the pictures you can probably tell that Chris and Joslyn are beautifully kind and wonderful people. The kind of people who make you feel like one of the family. The kind of people who see that you’re not eating so leave their bride and groom’s table to make you a plate of food and (nicely) force you to sit down. The kind of people who actually think to make eye contact with you at the end of their sparkler run to say thank you before they hop into their getaway car. And, though I wasn’t there to witness it in person, they’re the kind of people who are so awesome that their first stop with said getaway car is to a pizza joint…and they take such an epic selfie that it’s featured on a famous blog.
So without further ado, I give you the story of Chris and Joslyn’s wedding day (minus the epic selfie;):
