I’m always so excited when I get the chance to reunite with couples after their wedding day, but that excitement is heightened a bit when the reason I’m seeing them again is to meet their first born!
So when Shannon and Kyle asked me to come photograph their sweet one week old, I was ecstatic! Then, when I walked into their home and saw so many of their engagement and wedding pictures displayed on the walls, sheer gratitude washed over me. Because deep down, this had always been my hope. For couples to allow me to continue to tell their story even after the wedding day. So, to see two of those chapters I’d had the honor of photographing in Shannon and Kyle’s life as a background for the newest chapter they invited me in on was a special moment I won’t soon forget.
